WASHINGTON, D.C. — Representative Becca Balint (VT-AL), Vice Ranking Member on the House Judiciary Committee, today released the following statement after voting against the Continuing Resolution that would fund the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), including Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) for another two weeks: Rep. Balint remains committed to conducting oversight and holding ICE accountable. She has traveled to do on the ground oversight in Chicago during ‘Operation Midway Blitz’ in October and in Minnesota this month after the killing of Renee Good. She has also signed onto articles of impeachment against Kristi Noem. |
