ALYSSA PICARD is the Strategic Partnership & Network Development Consultant for the National Student Debt Counselors Network (NSDCN), a Lumina Foundation-funded initiative of the Community Service Society of New York. Alyssa previously led the member-facing student debt initiatives of the American Federation of Teachers an subsequently served in the Federal Student Aid Office of the Ombudsman. She holds a Ph.D. in history from the University of Michigan.
