LGBTQI+ Rights

Across the country, LGBTQI+ rights are under attack. Becca believes these attacks are un-American to their core. LGBTQI+ Americans should have the freedom to live as themselves. As the first openly gay member of Congress from Vermont and Co-Chair of the Congressional Equality Caucus, Becca is continuing to fight to protect the rights of every queer American to live and love as their authentic selves.

Becca is a cosponsor of the Equality Act, legislation that would expand federal civil rights protections to LGBTQI+ Americans.
