Vermont farms are essential to our way of life and to our identity as Vermonters. Not only are they critical to our economy, but they are also central to climate resilience and food security. Becca is working to ensure that the 2023 Farm Bill supports local Vermont farms, not just industrial farms. Becca knows that Vermont farms, already on the frontlines of climate change, must be equipped with the resources they need to continue to produce nutrient-dense food and steward our land. Farming must remain a viable career path for generations to come.
