President Biden’s Major Disaster Declaration for the State of Vermont was amended to include residents of Caledonia and Orange counties as eligible for direct federal assistance. This means financial assistance will be available for eligible homeowners and individuals living in Orange and Caledonia counties.
Other counties that were impacted are still being assessed by FEMA. The full list of counties eligible is now: Caledonia, Chittenden, Lamoille, Orange, Rutland, Washington, Windham, and Windsor Counties.
